The Power of Hydration (and a Little Extra Support!)
Staying well-hydrated is one of the simplest and most powerful ways to support your overall health — from improving energy and mood to helping digestion, circulation, and even clearer thinking. But did you know that when we sweat, exercise, or simply live busy, active lives, we don’t just lose water — we also lose important electrolytes?
Electrolytes like magnesium, potassium, and sodium help our bodies absorb water more effectively, keep muscles functioning properly, and support natural energy levels throughout the day.

What I'm Reading (actually listening to) This Month
The 5 Resets by Dr. Aditi Nerurkar
In The 5 Resets, Harvard physician and stress expert Dr. Aditi Nerurkar offers a refreshing perspective on managing stress and preventing burnout. She introduces five practical, science-backed "resets" designed to help individuals rewire their brains and bodies for greater resilience and well-being. These resets focus on clarifying personal priorities, reducing digital distractions, aligning mind and body, incorporating restorative breaks, and fostering self-compassion. Dr. Nerurkar emphasizes starting with small, manageable changes—advising no more than two at a time—to create sustainable habits that enhance daily life. Her approach provides accessible tools to navigate stress and cultivate a more balanced, fulfilling lifestyle.
Recipe of the Month
It seems like cottage cheese is having a major moment — and for good reason! It's an easy, delicious way to boost your protein intake and keep meals feeling light, fresh, and satisfying. It's being included in so many recipes these days. This month, I'm excited to share one of my new favorites: Egg Salad with Cottage Cheese. It’s a simple, nourishing twist on a classic — packed with protein, creamy without being heavy, and perfect for a quick lunch or snack.
I love it on a piece of hearty bread, scooped into lettuce leaves, piled onto your favorite crackers, or just eaten straight from the bowl when I'm short on time. Some days I fancy it up with avocado and greens, and other days I keep it simple and eat it straight from the container — no judgment here!
Give it a try — it might just become your new go-to too!
Cottage Cheese Egg Salad
Ingredients:
6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and chopped
½ cup cottage cheese (small curd works great)
1–2 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional, for extra creaminess)
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (I always add for a little zing)
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped chives, onions and celery (optional, for extra flavor and crunch)
Paprika for sprinkling (optional)
Instructions:
In a medium bowl, gently mash the hard-boiled eggs with a fork.
Add the cottage cheese, and stir to combine.
If you'd like, mix in the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard for a creamier, slightly tangy flavor.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Stir in some chopped chives, green onions and celery.
Sprinkle with paprika before serving, if desired.

Find the Pause
Sometimes the most healing thing we can do is pause — take three deep, intentional breaths, and reconnect with ourselves. In just a few moments, we can reset our nervous system, get grounded, and choose the next best thing for our mind, body, and soul.
And if we’re lucky enough to find a little sunlight along the way, even better. Stepping into the light — whether it’s the warmth of the sun (even through the window), a peaceful space, or simply a breath of fresh air — can nourish us in ways we sometimes forget we need.
Pause. Breathe. Find some light. Your reset is always closer than you think.

Self-Care Tip of the Month
The Power of a Simple Walk
Sometimes the simplest things are the most powerful. A gentle, easy-paced walk — especially outside in the fresh air — can work wonders for both body and mind.
Quick benefits:
Boosts your mood and energy
Clears mental clutter and reduces stress
Helps regulate breathing and calm the nervous system
Gives you a natural dose of vitamin D (hello, sunshine!)
Long-term benefits:
Supports heart health and circulation
Strengthens muscles and improves balance
Enhances cognitive function and memory
Builds resilience against anxiety, depression, and burnout
And the best part? You don’t need to walk fast or far. Even 10–30 minutes at a comfortable, enjoyable pace can make a real difference.
One important tip: try leaving your phone behind, or tucking it away out of sight. Let yourself truly unplug. Walking without distractions creates space to notice your surroundings, breathe deeply, and hear your own thoughts — a true reset for your mind and body.
Lace up your shoes, step outside, breathe deeply, and let movement be a gentle gift to yourself. Every step forward matters — for your body, your mind, and your soul.
