What's one healthy habit or routine you can add to your month?

Anne’s favorite things

Beef tallow face cream is a skincare product made from rendered beef fat that's rich in vitamins and minerals, and has been used for centuries to moisturize and nourish the skin. I am currently loving the Tallow Face Cream with Frankincense created by Molly Kubesh from Blackdirt Homestead. She is from Olivia. She also makes amazing sourdough bread.

Recipe of the Month

Winter Salad with Honey Mustard dressing

makes 2 servings

4 cups mixed greens

3/4 cup glazed walnuts & berries (I buy the salad topping bags)

1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

1 apple or pear chopped

1 avocado sliced

1/2 feta or blue cheese

1 cup cooked shredded chicken

Honey Mustard Dressing

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon garlic grated or minced

¼ teaspoon sea salt and black pepper, more to taste

whisk together and serve over salad

In a serving bowl mix the salad, walnuts, and pumpkin seeds

layer the apple or pear, avocado and chicken - top with cheese and dressing.

Upper Back Stretch & Heart Opener

A perfect way to release stress and find balance in your day!

Hug the Ball: Imagine holding a large beach ball in front of you. Round your upper back as you extend your arms forward, letting your shoulder blades gently separate. Feel the stretch across your upper back.

Open the Heart: Clasp your hands behind your back, straighten your arms, and gently lift your chest as you draw your hands slightly away from your body. Breathe deeply to open up the front of your chest. Feel your shoulder blades gently move closer together.
